Every week I’ll have anything new to learn or an easy project to make.
(There it’s still regular posts and tutorials mixed in too.) All the discussion and jobs calls for applying sewing machines. There would have been a several give sewing articles, but I’m going to be focusing primarily on sewing with a machine. You’ll know it’s area of the Sewing 101 Collection because you’ll see that cool logo. (above)
Nowadays I’ll begin the collection referring to something really simple:
Learning your sewing machine.
Every sewing equipment differs, however the same.
Consider it such as for instance a car. You will get an applied one, an classic one, your standard design, the the top of point luxury design or anything among – great for the family. All of them allow you to get from A to T (I mean sew), but they likewise have various features, top speeds, and experience different as you sew with them. And yes, just like a vehicle, specific models are designed much better than others.
You don’t need a elegant device to start. Anything simple can work. Learn the thing you need and you can generally update later.
The two (working) sewing machines I’ve in my home are extremely basic. A Performer Confidence 7470 and a Janome Hello Kitten unit (which belongs to my six year old). Equally get the task done, but have completely different feels. I really do all of my sewing on the Performer — also the quilting.
My singer is not really a the the top of point machine, but it is actually nice. It performs good and has all of the functions I need.
