Each week I’ll have something new to understand or a straightforward task to make.
(There it’s still normal articles and lessons mixed in too.) The majority of the conversation and tasks will involve using sewing machines. There will be a several give sewing articles, but I’m going to be concentrating largely on sewing with a machine. You’ll know it’s area of the Sewing 101 Collection since you’ll see that great logo. (above)
Today I’ll begin the line referring to something very standard:
Observing your sewing machine.
Every sewing unit is significantly diffent, however the same.
Think of it such as for instance a car. You can get an applied one, an traditional one, your standard product, the top of the range luxurious model or something among – ideal for the family. All of them enable you to get from A to T (I suggest sew), but they also have various features, top rates, and feel different as you sew with them. And yes, being a car, certain products are built a lot better than others.
You do not require a extravagant equipment to start. Something simple will work. Understand the thing you need and you can generally update later.
The 2 (working) sewing products I’ve within my house are very basic. A Singer Self-confidence 7470 and a Janome Hi Cat device (which belongs to my six year old). Both get the work done, but have very different feels. I actually do each of my sewing on the Performer — also the quilting.
My artist is not just a the the surface of the range unit, but it is really nice. It works good and has all the characteristics I need.
