Each week I’ll have something new to learn or an easy project to make.
(There will still be typical posts and courses mixed in too.) A lot of the debate and tasks calls for applying sewing machines. There will be a several give sewing posts, but I’ll be focusing largely on sewing with a machine. You’ll know it’s the main Sewing 101 Collection because you’ll see this cool logo. (above)
Nowadays I’ll begin the collection speaing frankly about anything really standard:
Observing your sewing machine.
Every sewing equipment is significantly diffent, but the same.
Think of it such as for instance a car. You may get a used one, an traditional one, your fundamental product, the the top of range luxurious product or anything among – perfect for the family. They all enable you to get from A to W (I suggest sew), but they likewise have various functions, top speeds, and feel various as you sew with them. And yes, just like a car, particular products are built a lot better than others.
You never need a nice device to start. Something simple may work. Learn the thing you need and you can generally upgrade later.
The 2 (working) sewing machines I have in my own house are very basic. A Artist Assurance 7470 and a Janome Hello Pet equipment (which belongs to my six year old). Equally get the task done, but have very different feels. I do all my sewing on the Performer — also the quilting.
My artist is not just a the top of the range unit, but it is actually nice. It works great and has all the features I need.
