Each week I’ll have something new to learn or a straightforward challenge to make.

(There will still be typical threads and guides combined in too.) All the discussion and tasks calls for applying sewing machines. There will be a several give sewing threads, but I’m going to be focusing mainly on sewing with a machine. You’ll know it’s the main Sewing 101 Collection because you’ll see this great logo. (above)

Nowadays I’ll start off the series speaing frankly about anything really simple:

Getting to know your sewing machine.
Every sewing device is different, however the same.

Consider it such as a car. You may get an applied one, an classic one, your fundamental design, the top of the line luxurious design or something between – ideal for the family. They all enable you to get from A to W (I suggest sew), but they likewise have different characteristics, top speeds, and experience various as you sew with them. And yes, as being a vehicle, specific products are made better than others.

That you do not require a fancy unit to start. Anything simple may work. Understand the thing you need and you can generally upgrade later.

The 2 (working) sewing products I’ve in my own house are very basic. A Singer Assurance 7470 and a Janome Hello Pet device (which goes to my six year old). Equally get the task done, but have different feels. I really do all of my sewing on the Performer — even the quilting.

My performer is not really a the the surface of the range unit, but it is really nice. It performs good and has most of the functions I need.
