Each week I’ll have something new to learn or a straightforward challenge to make.
(There it’s still typical threads and guides combined in too.) A lot of the debate and jobs calls for applying sewing machines. There is a several hand sewing threads, but I’m going to be concentrating mainly on sewing with a machine. You’ll know it’s part of the Sewing 101 Collection since you’ll see that cool logo. (above)
Today I’ll begin the line speaking about something really basic:
Learning your sewing machine.
Every sewing device differs, however the same.
Think of it such as a car. You can get an applied one, an old-fashioned one, your simple product, the the surface of the point luxurious product or something in between – perfect for the family. Each of them allow you to get from A to B (I suggest sew), but they also have various characteristics, prime rates, and experience various as you sew with them. And sure, being a car, specific devices are designed better than others.
You don’t require a fancy device to start. Something easy will work. Understand the thing you need and you are able to generally update later.
Both (working) sewing products I’ve in my home are very basic. A Singer Self-confidence 7470 and a Janome Hello Pet device (which belongs to my six year old). Equally get the work performed, but have different feels. I really do all my sewing on the Artist — actually the quilting.
My singer is not just a the the surface of the line device, but it’s really nice. It operates great and has all the functions I need.
